15 YEARS OF GREAT MARQUEES
This year we are celebrating our fifteenth year in business. No one said it would be easy starting a business from scratch. It has been difficult at times, full of challenges, but very fulfilling.
On the 31st December 1999 we put up marquees for three new years eve parties and we have not looked back since.
In the first couple of years we provided marquees predominantly for weddings and parties and had to hire in most of the extras, but now things have moved on.
We are still providing beautifully decorated marquees for weddings and parties but are now able to offer(in house) a much wider variety of extras including LED starlight linings, furniture, table linen, dance floors, lighting, heating, luxury toilets, generators and catering facilities... to name but a few.
We are able to cater for the smallest most intimate wedding through to the more elaborate and extravagant. One of our most recent weddings had to be large enough to accommodate eight hundred people for a sit down meal. We were able to provide everything they required and the only complaint was from an elderly gentleman saying he was too hot (the outside temperature was minus three).
We have a long standing relationship with a number of Wedding venues throughout the South East, Cobham Hall, Eastwell Manor, The Secret Garden, Odo's Barn, Ruffyns Barn to name but a few.
Corporate hospitality and private functions now account for nearly half of our turnover. We are contracted to a number of private schools for summer balls and speech day presentations. We are very proud to be the main contractor for London Marathon Ltd, providing all of the marquees for the Virgin and Bupa London Marathons and Ride London. We are also supply all the marquees to Kent County Cricket
In recent times we have expanded into the film industry and have built relationships with a number of production companies and film studios. We provided marquees on the sets of the latest Harry Potter film, Batman Begins, St. Trinian's, World War Z, Mission Impossible 5, The Kingsman...
Although we are now a much larger company our experience and enthusiasm ensure quality and pride in every aspect of every event.
